Penn State Orange Bowl 2006 (Full Frame)
Penn State Orange Bowl 2006 (Full Frame)
"Nittany Lions outlast the Seminoles to capture the FedEx Orange Bowl Championship" January 2, 2006. It took three overtimes and nerves of steel before the Nittany Lions put away the ACC Champion Florida State Seminoles to capture the FedEx Orange Bowl Championship and return Penn State to the elite class of college football greats. For five hours on a warm night in Miami, Fl., the Big Ten champions were locked in a defensive battle, but the determination of the Nittany Lions would eventually prevail. Meeting for just the third time in their storied histories and led by the two winningest coaches in Div. 1 college football, Penn State defeated Florida State 26-23 in triple overtime in front of nearly 78,000 fans. Like two heavyweight fighters, trading shots and sizing up their opponent, both teams struggled early but Penn State struck first with a 7-0 lead. The Seminoles rallied in the second quarter and went ahead with 13 unanswered points. Not to be outdone, Penn State Quarterback Michael Robinson connected on a 25-yard completion to close the first half with a touchdown and a 14-13 lead. Both teams were held scoreless following the break and Penn State waited until the fourth quarter to add to their lead by forcing a safety on the Seminoles. But with four minutes remaining, Florida State connected on a 48-yard field goal to tie the game and force overtime. Both teams would make exciting plays in the three overtimes and in the end Penn State Kicker Kevin Kelly proved that the third time is a charm as he connected for the 29-yard game winning field goal. This DVD contains the complete 2006 FedEx Orange Bowl, with coverage from ABC Sports, without commercial interruption. Chapter points on the DVD allow you to jump directly to the action, quarter by quarter. With this DVD, you are in control of every frame of video and every replay of one of the greatest BCS games in history and the return of Penn State.

Tony Price - Tony Price (1937-2000) was a self-styled "Atomic Artist" and outspoken antinuclear activist. Fountain Green, Illinois - Fountain Green, Illinois, is located about eleven miles northeast of Carthage, Illinois in Hancock County, Illinois. What was once a prosperous farming community had been reduced to an automobile salvage yard by 2000, with grand 19th Century houses surrounded by wrecked automobiles.
